For patients
For a person who has benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) involving the posterior canal (also called the inferior canal) on the right side, treatment maneuvers include the Epley maneuver for the right side, the Semont maneuver for the right side, the Semont plus maneuver for the right side, or the Foster maneuver for the right side.
For clinicians
The posterior (inferior) canal is the one most commonly involved by benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). If the right posterior canal is involved, then treatment maneuvers include:
- Epley maneuver, right
- Semont maneuver, right
- Semont plus maneuver, right
- Foster maneuver, right
- Gans maneuver, right
- Modified Epley maneuver, right
