For patients
For a person who has benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) involving the anterior canal (also called the superior canal) on the left side, the relevant treatment maneuvers include the Kim maneuver for the left side, the modified (reversed) Semont maneuver for the left side, and the reverse Epley maneuver for the left side.
For clinicians
The anterior (superior) canal is the least commonly involved by benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). If the left side is affected, then the main options for treatment maneuvers are:
- Kim maneuver, left side
- Modified (reversed) Semont maneuver, left side
- Reverse Epley maneuver, left side
- Rahko maneuver, left side
