For a person who has benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) involving the lateral canal (also called the horizontal canal) on the right side, the relevant treatment maneuvers include the Lempert roll for the right side.

The lateral (also known as the horizontal) semicircular canal is the second most commonly affected canal by benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). If the right lateral canal is affected, then options for treatment maneuvers include:

• Vannucchi-Asprella maneuver
